Since 1890 Trau Bros has been redefining the art of diamonds.

Based in Belgium, the heart of Europe, our excellence reaches out through a network of 10 worldwide offices in order to efficiently service our clientele.

RICH EUROPEAN LEGACY

Trau Bros was born in the late 1800´s in Belgium, heart of the world diamond industry.

In the early 1900´s  Chaim Trau, became famous thanks to the Rose Cut diamond.

During the 1930´s, Charles and Isak Trau -the Trau Brothers - redefined the art of cutting ovals and marquises. Fancies become Trau Bros´sign of recongnition.

In 1947, the company was awarded DTC Sightholder status. 

Since 1988, Laurent Trau, Philippe Amiel and Didier Amiel, fifth generation diamantaires, lead Trau Bros into the new millennium, enhancing the family legacy and growing the company to new horizons.

Trau Bros has also entered the world of fine jewelry with Scintilla Monaco its exclusive high-end brand sold in Monaco, Dubai, UAE, Japan, Russia as well as Jade Trau collection geared for a trendy younger audience in the USA.

The unique combination of craftsmanship, tradition, and innovation allows Trau Bros and its Strategic Partners to meet the challenges of the diamond and jewelry, market of the twenty first century.

Trau Bros is a DTC Sightholder since 1947;. DTC is the sales division of the The Beers Group and the world’s leading supplier of rough diamonds. Being a Sightholder is an assurance of excellence and continuous supply of natural, conflict free diamonds.

Trau Bros´s tradition of excellence has earned its reputation in the industry as leader in manufacturing of fine diamonds.

In our state of the art polishing factories, we use the latest technology known in the industry to enhance the expert eye and hand of our artisans.

Our globally coordinated network of cutting and polishing facilities in Antwerp, Israel, India, China and Namibia ensures consistent supply of Trau’s diamonds.

Namibia

We are proud of our latest factory in Windhoek Namibia, inaugurated in 07. Trau Bros’ factory uses state-of-the-art equipment and offers a specialized training program conducted by leading experts to transfer the skills and expertise of the art of polishing diamonds to a Namibian team.
